Graphic Designer

We're an LA-based cosmetic eCommerce brand ForChics and we are looking for a creative and forward-thinking individual with a passion for design in daily life to be our Graphic Designer.

You will be responsible for creating unique high converting designs within our brand guidelines. This will include social media graphics and ads, display banners, emails, and more.

A successful candidate will be able to work quickly while displaying great attention to detail and organizational skills. They have the ability to conceptualize and create designs to convey our message with high visual impact, are able to take direction, refine concepts and initiate improvements. They will have prior experience in developing branding, visual identity, packaging, and collateral.

The ideal candidate is interested in cosmetics and the beauty industry, with the ability to work independently and be a self-starter. This position is remote, can be based anywhere in the United States or Canada.

What you’ll be doing
- Design branding and marketing assets for different platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, website, and email
- Developing packaging design, icon design, banners, and creative concepts and prepare for final production
- Actively participate in campaign brainstorms

- Maintain and manage an asset library on an ongoing basis, as well as an inventory of where these assets live and how they will be used.

Who are you?
- At least 3+ years experience in graphic design; beauty and/or e-commerce experience a plus
- Highly experienced with Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
- A portfolio demonstrating a core competency in graphic design
- Experience creating paid social ads and display ads
- Experience working with a variety of touchpoints; packaging, graphic motion, branding, advertising, displays, and websites. packaging design, icon design, banners
- Experience in web dev in terms of wireframe and design

- Familiarity with cosmetics, fashion, and beauty trends
